The Chronicle Weighs in on Trace and Vince Young

It was a quiet week for reviews, but the Chronicle stepped up with two:
First, Kate Thornberry reconsiders the hotel restaurant at Trace in the W, and finds the local/seasonal restaurant is "is off to a fine start" and "is definitely aiming to be counted among" the best hotel restaurants in Austin.

Next, self-declared football fan Claudia Alarcón visited the Vince Young Steakhouse, and, despite having reservations about the gimmick of an athlete-owned steakhouse, decided "so far, so good." She also anticipates their upscale bar to be a good place for "sports fans who want to watch the game in an atmosphere that's not sports-bar raucous."
