On Texas Monthly's Cook Like a Texan Issue

texas-monthly-cook-like-a-texan-100.jpgThe current issue of Texas Monthly is themed "Cook Like a Texan," but not everyone thought the dishes accurately represent the state: One (slightly hysterical?) reader wrote in saying the chosen dishes portray Texans as "ignorant, tasteless, crude, backwoods red necks." She also compared a photo of enchiladas to "exudate from an untended wound." Yum? [TM]
