Snack Bar has apparently done away with their "kitchen nightmares" and acquired a new chef and a new menu (warning: pdf). Just in time for the masses to descend for SXSW!
Thomas Reeh, the former chef of the dearly-departed Mars who has also spent time at Wink, Fino and Jeffrey's, has "revamped and fine-tuned the menu." The new menu includes a daily brunch (from 9:00 to 4:00!) as well as a selection of "global tapas." Reeh's also apparently going to add more vegan/gluten free options after SXSW.
