EATER GIVEAWAYS — The winner of our Texas Hill Country Wine and Food Festival VIP ticket giveaway was Eater Austin reader Eric, whose submission you can read below. Eric was selected for his wit as well as the degree to which we felt his restaurants represented Austin. Thanks to everyone who entered!

Since your request was to identify the "itinerary of where you would eat over the course of a perfect Austin weekend", and, similar to y'all my weeks of hell always end at 5PM on Fridays, I'm going to consider 5:00:01PM the freakin weekend and eligible for the itinerary.

5:01 Haribo twin cherries in the car on the way to happy f'ng hour

5:30 Whip In - Appetizer: Toasted naan with ghee, chips w/ queso con chutney; Drinks: 512 Barrel Aged Double Pecan Porter and a Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout

10:40AM Franklin BBQ - Divine Reserve 11 number 2

10:55AM Franklin BBQ - Divine Reserve 11 no. 3, start to get emotional about 8.9% beer, ribs, and brisket. Confirm with fellow 'que nerds that hangovers are for the weekdays.

11:20AM Franklin BBQ - Pork Ribs (3), 1/2 lb fatty, sausage link, side of beans, Big Red; get frivolous with Divine Reserve 11 no. 4.

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun x 100000
