Former Owner of Katz's Deli Files for Bankruptcy

The fallout of the Katz's Deli bankruptcy continues: Marc Katz, who owned the all-night diner on West Sixth, has filed for personally bankruptcy. It seems Katz had personally guaranteed some of the restaurant's debt, which includes $1.5 million owed to the landlord of the building. Katz's Deli closed permanently on New Year's Day, to the dismay of Austin late-night reuben fans.
