With the entire city bracing itself for the drunken onslaught of SXSW in two weeks, Rainey Street residents seem to be particularly dreading it. One resident already calls normal weekends an "uncontrollable carnival," and another said that after lines from the Lustre Pearl extended past his house last year, he built a fence to "thwart foot traffic."
