A New Chef at Red House; Austin Restaurant Week

EAST SIDE — Red House has announced that they've hired a new chef: John Galindo of Izzoz Tacos. Galindo intends to keep the pizzas on the menu, but also will add "playful additions such as chicken-fried meatballs." They're also adding a late-night happy hour from 10:00 to close. [ABJ]

RESTAURANT WEEK — Austin's spring Restaurant Week will run from March 27 through 30 and April 3-6. No word on participating restaurants yet, but we'll be sure to keep you updated. [Statesman]
