La Condesa's Nate Wales To Rep US In Cocktail World Cup

Mixologist Nate Wales of La Condesa pulled out a big win at the US Bartenders' Guild 42 Below Cocktail World Cup National Finals yesterday. Wales will join fellow mixologists Michael Callahan and Jennifer N. Contraveo to rep the US at the Cocktail World Cup in New Zealand in two weeks. Alas, as noted by La Condesa, "Isn't that right in the middle of SXSW? S**t!" Somehow we don't think Wales will mind missing it this year.

Reached for comment, restaurant owner Jesse Herman told us, "Everyone at La Condesa is incredibly proud and happy to have Nate representing the restaurant, Austin and the US." Major congrats!
