An arrest has been made for the fires at both the Green Muse and Habana: Martin Gutierrez has been charged with nine counts of arson and is said to have caused over $187,000 in damage. Gutierrez is alleged to have set fire to the Green Muse three separate times, the first of which was back in December.
Other arson targets in the area were local businesses and a City of Austin building; Gutierrez faces up to 20 years in prison. Now we guess all restaurant owners have to worry about is megadroughts, wayward cigarette butts, and those pesky barbecue pits.
