Surprise! Lucky J's Opening a Brick and Mortar

Lucky J's Chicken and Waffles is bouncing back from the Christmas theft of one of their trailers in a big, big way: They're opening a brick and mortar. Today. Like, right now.

They're taking over what used to be The Sandwich Joint on Burnet and, at least in the beginning, will offer some of the previous restaurant's sandwiches as well as their trailer menu. The future holds "Collard Greens, Mac and Cheese, Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo, and Shrimp and Grits just to name a few things" and they'll be keeping their two trailers busy, as well.
