Jalapeno Joe's Heats Up

New, 1 comment

jjstexmex.jpgVirginia B. Wood reviews the newest Jalapeno Joe's location in this week's Austin Chronicle, and she likes what she's eating, despite "seasoning issues." The restaurant features "consistently reliable, authentic Tex-Mex dishes that are affordable and served up by a friendly, accommodating staff," and Wood likes the all-day breakfast and house-made, fiery red and green salsas. Only thing? The carne guisada needs more comino and salt, while the guac needs some "pizzaz." [Austin Chronicle]
