Before Top Chef: Texas contestant and Uchiko chef Paul Qui became an Austin culinary scene star, he spent less of his time with the seaweed-wrap kind of greenery and more of his time with the illegal-drug kind of greenery. Last night on Top Chef, Qui admitted to selling marijuana from the ages of fifteen to twenty-two years old.
In the clip that follows, Qui says that once his apartment got trashed,"I moved to Austin to change my lifestyle." A lifestyle that included, based on a pretty baller still shot of young Qui, tuxedos and sweet red sports cars.
