Not-So-Fond Farewells of 2011

new-spot-katz.jpgAustin saw several disappointing restaurant closings this year, a number of which involved decades-old establishments. But which will we miss the most? Katz's Deli closed January 2nd, and our New York-style sandwich cravings have gone unfulfilled ever since. Hickory Street was a downtown safe bet for 28 years, while El Arbol grew hot in 2010 and, suddenly, cold. We also regret saying good night to the Good Knight. Which places were you sorry to see go in 2011? [Eaterwire]
