Barroom Shuffle Next Year At Bar Congress

New, 3 comments

Big news out of Bar Congress on Facebook today, announcing that manager Adam Bryan's leaving because he "has his own album to do on the east side," by which we sincerely hope they mean "has his own bar to open on the east side." Jason Stevens, formerly of the East Side Showroom and the Tigress Pub will take over. From the post:

... very excited to announce Jason Stevens as the new manager of Bar Congress. Jason replaces Adam Bryan, who has his own album to do on the east side. The changeover takes place in mid-January. Many thanks to both of these fine young men...
Interestingly enough, just last week Chef David Bull--who last fall hired a youthful dream team of staffers to work at Congress, Second Bar + Kitchen and Bar Congress--was asking for new "awesome" people to apply to work for him. Congress lost pastry chef Plinio Sandalio to The Carillon early in November, too. When we know more, you'll know more--in the meantime, the Tipsy Texan speculates that Bryan may be headed out to re-open La Bare. Just kidding. We think.
