In the October Issue of Austin Monthly, Contigo sous chef David Myers gets a makeover from their stylists. Dave was known for his long, handlebar mustache that he waxed daily. That's gone now, replaced by a more clean cut look. Austin Monthly Editor Erin Quinn says that he was chosen for the makeover by their staff themselves.
After the makeover, Dave says half of his coworkers don't even recognize him, but that the mustache is coming back. You can monitor the regrowth by being a regular at Contigo, or maybe some adoring fans will set up a 'stache photo blog.
