Last week Verts, a German-style street food restaurant on Guadalupe, unleashed their monster of a food truck on the streets of Austin. Well, it's a small, small monster. Based on the German built Smart Car, the truck serves Verts Berlin-Inspired Doner Kebaps at various Austin hotspots, festivals, and events.

First came the trailers and trucks, then came barbecue on a boat, now there's German food out of a car smaller than your bed.

"We knew we had to think big to be successful in the highly competitive and creative Austin market," says Michael Heyne of Verts. “So designing the world’s smallest food truck made perfect sense considering the tremendous popularity of the food truck market and Austin’s uniquely active lifestyle.”

You can find the smart car at 37th Street and North Lamar from 12-2pm, Wednesdays through Fridays.
