Sagra's New Menu & Cocktails; Old School Bar & Grill Opens; A New Food Trailer Park Opening in East Austin

DOWNTOWN — Sagra announces their new fall menu by chef Gabriel Pellegrini and a new cocktail menu by the newly hired bar manager Justin Chamberlin. Look for additions such as crab stuffed trout, braised beef short ribs, and a portabella pappardelle. The new cocktail list is very Italian inspired and incorporates mostly local spirits. Both menus start beginning November 6th. [-EW-]

NORTH — Aftershock Trailer Food Mash-Up brings some of the cities best trailers together with booze. Well, beer, rather. Circle Brewing Company welcomes Peached Tortilla, Chilantro BBQ, Evil Wiener, The Jalopy, and Be More Pacific this Saturday from 12-3pm at their brewery. [Facebook]

EAST — Hoovers Soular Food, a new trailer park destination at 12th and Waller Streets, welcomes you to their grand opening this Saturday at 5pm. A partnership between the kind folks at Hoover's Cooking and East 12th Street Partners, the Food Garden will come to host six food trailers in the "friendliest, tastiest, and liveliest" location in Austin. Is it possible to give a food trailer park a big hug? [@atxfoodblogs]

DOWNTOWN — Old School Bar and Grill opened on Monday in the former Paradise Cafe location downtown. It is the "culmination of years of [owner Dan] Parrott's work, which all began with a yellow school bus in East Austin affectionately named "Big Momma." Their menu is a bit more expanded than their other locations, with dishes taking a southern and European influence with a dash of New Orleans too. [Community Imact]
