It's official! Kome opened today after their successful soft-opening and preview over the weekend. Owners Kayo and Take Asazu, who also started Sushi A-Go-Go, can now celebrate the birth of their Japanese food brick-and-mortar.
Kome's website does not yet have their menu posted, but as Eater previously reported, the lunch menu will be Teishoku style, a set menu with one main dish, rice, and a few side items. Dinner will be more Izakaya style, a variety of small plates meant to be shared informally among a group.
Kome is located at 50th and Airport and is open for lunch Mon-Fri from 11-2, and for dinner from 5-10. They are closed on Sundays.
