Construction of Estancia Churrascaria's second location began in June at the former Serrano's spot in the Arboretum. Owner Ironi DaRosa updated Eater Austin, saying that they hope it may open as soon as late next week. The restaurant is Austin's first Brazilian steak house - think lots of meat and lots of meat on spears.
The new location will be twice the size of their south location, at nearly 8,000 square feet. DeRosa tells Eater that the menu will be the same, but with a larger salad bar and to expect the "same service and same quality."
To celebrate the opening of their north Austin outpost, Estancia Churrascaria will be offering a promotion in the beginning - $33.50 for dinner every day, $21.50 for lunch Monday through Friday, and the salad bar will be $16.50. That's just a slight savings from their normal price, but remember it's all you can eat.
Soon you will be able to get your OMG-meat fix in two locations, and the regrettable drive home will be shorter. Just remember to eat some fiber, too.
