New Menu at Foreign & Domestic; Special at The Carillon

NORTH LOOP — Foreign & Domestic will be premiering their new fall menu later this week, and from the early descriptions it seems Ned and Jodi Elliott still love making us salivate. "Sweetbread Omelet, calves brains, Porcinis, Chanterelles, and fall squash!!" [@ForeignDomestic]

CAMPUS — The Carillon is offering a special three course meal for $29 per person for the rest of the month. Beet Salad; Duck Confit; Spiced Pumpkin Cake. The only drawback is that the offer is valid from 5:30-6:30PM. Eater wonders if chef Josh Watkins is still washing the whipped cream from his hair. [-EW-]

DOWNTOWN — 24 Diner posted information about their special Real Ale Cask Beer & Food Pairing event on October 26th. "Real Ale Brewmaster Erik Ogershok will host as we nail a spout into the first -- and only -- cask release of Real Ale Brewing Company's 15th Anniversary Ale."
