Daily JMueller BBQ Update; Wine and Film at Max's

DOWNTOWN — Max's Wine Dive has a few events coming up. A "Miscellaneous Fun with Wine" tasting this Saturday, and a Coppola-themed dinner, movie, and wine shindig on Sunday. [Wine&Food Foundation]

BOULDIN CREEK— JMueller BBQ sold out again today. But, that gave John Mueller even more time to get ready for his TV appearance on KEYE this afternoon. [@JMuellerBBQ]

DOWNTOWN — Perry's has introduced a few new items to their bar menu, including Seared Scallops, Gourmet Grilled Cheese, and Slow Cooked Pork Stew. Also, for the month of October they are offering a special of four items at only $4 each, Monday-Wednesday after 4pm. [Rob Balon]

TRIANGLE — The Flying Saucer is hosting a Real Ale dinner tonight at 7pm. At $40 a person, there must be a lot of good beer. [AustinBeerGuide]

FOWL PLAY — Chef du Cinema will be hosting their 8th dinner and a movie series on October 29th. the event includes a recipe demonstration, a meal, and a viewing of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds at Central Market North. [ChefDuCinema]
