Food Design at the Drafthouse

drafthouse-south-lamar-150.jpgSlackerwood's Jenn Brown reviews the film Food Design, as well as the meal Alamo Drafthouse chef John Bullington prepared to accompany it in which each course was "a basic ingredient five ways with very different preparations": "I readily admit I didn't enjoy every item served during the event; in fact, I would say I only really enjoyed less than half. But the experience of all those different textures and preparations was priceless." She also mentions the audience was louder than usual Drafthouse crowds; shut up, foodies, indeed. [Slackerwood]
