Brewpubs Will Make a House Brown Ale in Support of HB 660

Some central Texas brewpubs are getting together to make a beer in support of HB 660, the bill that would allow brewpubs to bottle and sell their beer off-site. Uncle Billy's, NXNW, and the Draughthouse (as well as other brewpubs outside of Austin) will be brewing the "house brown" ale, which will have 6.60% ABV (get it?!). They hope to add more brewpubs to that list, and will also post the recipe on the HB 660 blog so you can show your support at home if you're feeling extra ambitious. Look for HB 660 at area brewpubs this Spring.
