The Statesman talks to architect Michael Hsu, who designed many of the new restaurants in Austin over the past few years including Uchiko, La Condesa, and the recently-opened Haddingtons, about the design of the restaurants on Second Street. Said Hsu of the area, "It starts to feel like the walkable areas in cities I love myself: Portland, Seattle and San Francisco. And not to mention New York." [Statesman]
