The Texas Restaurant Association is backing a bill that would move a 14% tax on mixed drinks from being included in the price of the drink to being listed on the receipt. Guess they figure people will drink less of them when they see how much tax is added? Anyway, for comparison, wine and beer have the standard 8.25% tax applied to them. [MyWestTexas]
