Freshii to Flood Austin's Crowded Premade Health Food Scene

Freshii, yet another healthy-prepackaged-meals-to-go place, is coming to Austin. According to Austin Business Journla this makes six such establishments in town: Mel’s Meals, Snap Kitchen, Good Eating, My Fit Foods, The Studio Kitchen and Simply Fit Meals. We'll add Diet Gourmet and Food 4 Fitness Cafe to that list (which doesn't even include Central Market or Whole Foods, both of which sell similar items), making nine total. That's a lot of health food! And most of those are pretty recent additions.

Anyhow, with Freshii you can order customized salads, soups, wraps, rice bowls and breakfasts online and then pick them up at the store, ready in biodegradable packaging. No word on where they'll be located yet, it seems they are still scoping real estate.
