DMV Approves Hamburger License Plates

We all like hamburgers, and Austin is not a city that's lacking good places to get them. The debate over who serves the best patties can get pretty heated, but fans of one area chain can rest easy knowing they have the DMV on their side. That's right: they approved Mighty Fine's official Texas novelty license plates.

The design is not officially available, however a representative from My Plates, the company producing the custom license plates, told us there would be a hamburger on the left side. What you see here is a mock-up from the voting stage, which may or may not be the official end product. The details are still being worked out, so no word on when they will be available to order.
