As is the tradition at Eater, our closeout of the year is a survey of industry types, writers, and readers. This year, we asked the group eight questions, from Best Newcomers to Top Standbys. All will be answered by the time we turn off the lights on Thursday. Responses are related in no particular order; all are cut, pasted and unedited herein:

Were there any restaurants that you broke up with in 2010 -- eg, places you stopped going to?
Austinist's food writer Tom Thornton: Corazon at Castle Hill.
Kay Marley, food writer: I broke up with Aquarelle, unless it's happy hour. After a few meals where quality of product didn't match the price tag, I decided to spend my time in restaurants that consistently deliver deliciousness.
Ryan Adams, Nose to Tail at Home: Sushi Zushi. Made me sick, terrible service.
Rachel and Logan, Boots in the Oven: Tam Deli
Kristi Willis, Austin Farm to Table: Annie's
Erin McReynolds, food writer: Asti
Natanya Anderson, Fete & Feast: Max's Wine Dive
