Rainey Street just keeps on exploding: according to Downtown Austin Blog, three permits have been requested for new restaurants/bars in the historic district. One will be a "1900's Nola bordello" themed bar called the Blackheart, designed by Dick Clark (word of this one came in September). There is also a "food concept" going in, as well as a bar that may or may not serve food.
