We've been waiting for an opening date on Haddingtons American Tavern, the new "homage to the early American industrial era" from Mulberry's Michael Polombo, and we've got...a month. Coming sometime in December, Haddingtons will occupy the old Thai Tara space on West Sixth with a massive redesign by Michael Hsu. Chef Zack Northcutt's menu was inspired by London's Anchor & Hope pub and will feature his take on British dishes like Scotch eggs and fish & chips.
Perhaps the best part is that Haddingtons marks former FINO mixologist Bill Norris' return to cocktail mixing in Austin; Norris left FINO in August.
