Zed's, the gigantic, Michael Hsu-designed 9,000 square foot food and music venue way up north is making headway on construction. It's looking like they're still aiming for a November opening, with local bands starting to play on their deck early next year. Chef Jim Matteson's menu is very smokey Tex-Mex with lots of burgers, a chile-chocolate dessert, and at least one use of the word "Texican."
