And now for our quarterly update of the Eater 38, your answer and ours to any question that begins, "Can you recommend a restaurant..." This highly elite group covers the entire city, spans myriad cuisines, and collectively satisfies all of your restaurant needs, from taco trucks to fine dining. Reminder: restaurants must be open at least six months to qualify for the 38.
October's update welcomes the following to the Eater 38: Hana World Food Court hidden gem Kin & Comfort, wine-nerd heaven and French stunner LaV, and a hearty welcome back to the Detroit pizza stylings of Via 313. Eater is sad to say goodbye to El Meson, Blue Dahlia, and Elizabeth Street Cafe. These new updates are mapped in no particular order below.
For those of you readying the pitchforks because your favorite restaurant isn't on the list, wouldn't it just be more productive to nominate it for inclusion? State your cases for (or against) restaurants in the comments or down the tipline.
