Texas Monthly has the inspiring tale of a New York barbecue fan who's trying to combat "food racism" with a supper club called "Brisket Lab." Brooklyn blogger Daniel Delaney towed a smoker home from Austin and is charging his fellow New Yorkers $25 per pound to eat what he hopes is Franklin Barbecue-level brisket. If he can't make brisket quite as good as "the greats," he says he's "going to work [his] hardest to not disrespect them." [TxMo]
