Fresh off opening a brick-and-mortar, it looks like Lucky J's Chicken and Waffles has even bigger plans: expanding beyond Austin. Owner Jason Umlas says there are no firm plans yet, and that he's "just putting out some feelers." No word on whether they're looking to expand within Texas or even farther.
Lucky J's isn't the first Austin-based trailer to expand beyond Travis County, of course: Torchy's Tacos opened a Dallas brick-and-mortar last Spring. Austin food trucks, taking over the world.
