Texas ranch-style Jacoby’s Restaurant and Mercantile is launching lunch starting on Thursday, July 30. Dishes will include a chicken fried steak sandwich on Texas Toast, blackened catfish hoagie, and burgers. Midday hours will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday. The restaurant is also adding bar and lunch specials, including the cupcake version of the strawberry cake.
Adam Jacoby opened the namesake restaurant on East Cesar Chavez last August, inspired by his family’s ranch and cafe in Melvin, Texas. The beef used in the restaurant is sourced from that farm. Jacoby’s also serves dinner and Sunday brunch, which started in March.
