More details were revealed about Urban Oufitters’ upcoming "lifestyle concept" Space 24 Twenty that is taking over a block of UT’s Drag. Aside from Marc Vetri and Michael Symon, other chefs who are potentially attached to the complex for the unannounced third restaurant could be John Besh and Aaron Sanchez, as noted over on Eater National. Tracy McGinnis, the company’s marketing manager, told Eater that the restaurants are meant to be "casual" but chef-driven. She also emphasized that the each place will "have their own identities," existing as separate buildings. Released renderings of the spaces show a courtyard with food trucks, which will be curated by Vetri. The sleeping cat mural from shuttered Mellow Mushroom will remain.
Vetri also told Eater National that his pizzeria menu will take advantage of the city’s farmer’s markets and breweries, with plans for an Austin-inspired pizza. "I imagine it will have some sort of smoked meat," he said. Symon is using his spot in the complex to launch a new branch of his restaurants: the quick service Symon's Burger Joint. The restaurants are projected to open by November.
