Here's a look at the progress inside of Olamaie, the long-anticipated new Southern restaurant gearing up to open this summer. The former Sagra space will be completely revamped and renovated, as will the kitchen.
The restaurant built a great deal of buzz with their pop-up dinners at venues like Fino and Lenoir last fall, only to get held up with permitting delays. Co-executive chefs Michael Fojtasek and Grae Nonas and general manager Ben Hickerson bring experience from lauded restaurants Son of a Gun in Los Angeles and NYC's Lincoln.
